    Hey fella's

Been reading over a few posts. Just wondering, is the VR6 engine identicle to the Bora 4motion V6's of the same year?

there was no listing for an 03 Bora (figured 04 would be close enough), and no listing for a VR6 of the same year, closest i could find was the '96 golf

The vr6 bora which you talk about is the elusive 24V, god damn I want one! The mk3 is only a 12V and the r32 is a 3.2 litre compared to a 2.8L.

In the states alot of Golfs came with the 24V 6ixers, but they are pretty rare themselves!

Thanx guys! So the bora V6 has the same motor as the US MK4 Jetta VR6? It sucks, why cant there be so many performance shops over here as there are in the states. Parts are so cheap over there!

I agree with you mate, its hard here but **** happens the market just isn't big enough here for all

Also you just have to be careful when purchasing parts for the fact that they are left hand drive as we are right hand drive

There's also a Mk4 Golf VR6 with the 24V. That may be the same as the Bora VR6 and your 4-Motion?

Yes there was a private import mk4 golf 4motion v6 for sale that someone brought to attention on this forum. The mk3 synchro had a 2.9L motor too
