sticky console under handbrake

is it just me or is anyone elses console extra sticky under the handbrake? Coincidentally this seems to be the happy place for all little bits of crap that find their way into my car. Even after a good vacume and wipe i still cant get all of the crap out of there, ive tried using various cleaning products with mixed results but the stickiness always seems to come back. Any suggestions guys?

Its probably all the grease from use and armorall and whole lot of other crap, you can use some alcohol to clean it. Maybe a bit of vodka on a rag should be more than enought to take that garbage off. Also take that gaiter off if you can and clean it up like that. But yeah Vodka and a rag or if you can't get to it use some q-tips thats what I used to get rid of some of the muck on my car.

Hahaha I actually use Rakija... no one drinks that stuff around here anyway its a bit rough (*cough*). Cleans windows like theres no tommorow, no window cleaner can beat it, bit of a waste though hahaha!
