    Steering noise

I'm hearing a clunk or knocking noise when the steering wheel is fully locked.
I can feel it more when I'm reversing into my driveway, just as I'm about to take off. Getting very annoyed with it.
I'm thinking maybe the CV joint.
Does anyone know what else it might be?

    Thanks
    Haz

IT wasn't an expensive job to get done but it's not something I would tackle...

you will need to drop the control arms out takes prob 15min, about 6 or so bolts per side, you will need a press to press out the old ones, and to refit new ones... not to hard if you know a mate with a press
mk4 the mods begin for round 2 hahahha

My control arm bushes are also stuffed
Where can you purchase whiteline bushes from in Syd and who did the fitting?

I am located on the Nth Shore of Syd and need a little work done besides the bushes, (both thermo fans are stuffed) if any one can recommend a mechanis i would be grateful.

    Sorry for hijacking you thread
