I've got the same problem, just started this morning.
2009 Tiguan TDI and 2007 Passat TDI
Can you chase the noise down to a particular area?
Under dash / footwell or engine bay ?
Common on cars with a "squeek" with the depressing of the clutch pedal , emitted from the release bearing (lubrication drying up / bearing failing) or the pressure plate itself. Some things to consider
Could be the pedal itself?
The clutch master cylinder is built into the pedal under the dash.
The spring helps to reduce the effort needed to disengage the clutch, it helps the pedal go down, not up as some might think. The up is provided by clutch itself via hydraulic pressure.
Here is the pedal assembly

It will be the clutch pedal pin bushes (number 8 ) obviously your pedal isn't plastic as pictured but it was just a way to show what you need, you could pull it all apart and grease it and see if that works but you need a tool to put the clutch spring back in

Think the bush as above or the plastic 'holder' (number 25 above)
mine started after I had the pedal out to be replaced.
Yeah i have chased down the noise it seems to be coming from the footwell up in the pedal....id rather not pull it apart if i could get away with it..
