Swaybar bushes dry?
Hi guys right now I have this problem thats really started to irritate me and was wondering if someone could help
me with this.
Everytime I drive the vehicle from cold for about an hour or so it starts to make squeaking sound (like old door squeaking sound) from the front suspension and I can't pin point where exactly but my guess is that it could be something to do with the
bushings. I tried to spray the areas with some lubricant (silicone sprays) but it's still there. It's really funny how the sound is not heard when the vehicle has been stationary for a while and makes the noise when the vehicle is driven for at least 1-2 hours. The front shocks were replaced but the noise was there even before I replaced them so it has to be the bushings.
Are they expensive to fix? how much are they to fix?
Any ideas?
Swaybar bushes dry?
sway bar bushing, sway bar end links, control arm bushing, strut top bushings. could be a lot of things.
do you know if its at dash height or down towards the pedals?
do you know when it does it (wheel turned/straight, accelerating/braking/coasting, bumps or all the time)
I'm not 100% sure but I think it's kinda coming from dash height you can clearly hear it from the cabin or it also could be from accelerator down..not too sure.
The sound is produced when I start do go over few speed humps. But is doesn't produce sound when it's raining.
any ideas?
Nothing to see here...
