    Haldex service - Local Mechanic
Bilstein B6 front struts - Pedders Canberra
    Tow Bar removed ....

    Work in progress....

Entire interior trim from dashboard up is being recovered and replaced including sunroof being serviced and new antenna installed.
Rear springs to match lowered front coils have been bought, just waiting on adjustable control arms from US to arrive.
    Sourcing 18 x 8.5 et35 rims to replace current 17 x 7.5.

    Headlight eyebrows have arrived
    Fitted mats have arrived.
Getting VW specialist to service and check every mechanical device including haldex again - this time with a new filter
And probably fit a pair of HID super oscars......

Ok... Lots of time and lots of things happening with the Bora !
its had a full service now and a proper haldex oil change and filter. No more noise from the rear when turning or reversing !! The fluid wasn't that grubby but there wasn't as much as there should have been !! No leaks so not sure why this was so.... Just a big relief that alls well....
interior has been returned from trimmer and he's done an awesome job. Unfortunately I couldn't get the sunroof blind to fit and work as it should despite new glides.... It wouldn't let the glass roof retract for some reason so I just left it out for the minute. I was sick of driving it around rattling away.... So now all interior fabric areas have been replaced and it looks as new. I've just bought a full R32 black leather seat set so that will go in after a minor repair and lots of leather conditioner.... The R32 wheel will be recovered in black suede ...
Theres a stud conversion on its way from the UK and when that gets here I'll replace the front brakes with the grooved discs that match those on the rear ... The rear calipers were a bitch to wind back in but the right tools make it easy !!
Exterior wise I've clay barred it and used meguires ultimate range of polishes and it's now very shiny !! I've sourced new oettinger badges for the rear lid.... It looks a little cluttered - 4 badges.... Not sure if they'll all stay or go... The new 01BORA plates identify it in any case

Lovely clean bora... Keep it up.

Reading all these bora build threads makes me wonder if a gti was the right choice..
