I still don't understand why people would complicate their lifes to that extent and buy a Haltech instead of doing a direct chip like Giac. Doesn't that work as good as on the Audi's ( it should be the same engine ? ) 1.8T ?
My Audi is quicker off the mark now than a stock WRX ( provided it is not wet, hey) and any driver of Skyline GTS or Silvia challenging me at the lights will most likely end up in regret...
GIAC is the song you want to hear, trust me . They are doing maps for these cars for years and years and they are fast and reliable. Plus it uses less fuel in normal conditions... My economy improved by 1l/100km after doing the map in city driving, almost 2 on highway driving...
