I had a front mount made for my A3 for 1600 all in fitted.

If you are adamant not to be doing the FM then I'd be going for the BF one. I bet you could get one made locally to go in the same space as the std one. Thing is there are other restrictions that need looking at too, like pancake pipe and TIP. If you start adding in the cost of a pancake replacement which I no longer need then the FMIC fitted looks better all the time.
