Has anyone got a link to a K04 conversion on a MKIV Golf GTi? Wouldn't mind some extra power...

As you're in qld, might be worth a call to Guy as well. He'll be able to give you heaps of info.

We have them on the shelf here:
http://www.goapr.com.au/products/turbo_k04_vw.html
we have over a dozen running out there - give us a call if you need any further info.
Its a direct bolt up job.
Thanks for the links. Seems like a lot of money for the gains. Have you got any times that your customers ran with the K04 jobbie?
I might wait until I can afford a MKIV R32 with twin turbos
I've got an Oettinger chip and K04. I got a 14.3 IIRC.

Sorry I should've been more specific. Yeah I meant 1/4 mile times.
14.3 is not a bad time, but spending a few grand I would want a sub 14. There seems to be dozens of MKIVs in the States running in 13s and low 14s with minimal mods.
I'm sure if you launched it hard enough with sticky tyres, you would be sub 14
I've been to a couple of the watercooled drag days in the states, and you will find most of the cars are running heavy clutches, light flywheels & drag radials (oh, and limited slip diffs). the scene is pretty different over there to what we generally see
