Same wheel clearance wheel to strut - 18 x 8.75 Xxr 35et approx 2mm.
Bora/R32 shocks are an interference fit into the hub assembly with a locating tab that slides into the split housing where the single use bolt clamps the whole thing together. No threaded housing as in most other coil over conversions.
The bottom spring platform dictates the overall ride height and the effective spring tension is static and not adjustable.
On my WRX the strut threads into the hub and that controls ride height. The spring rate can be changed by adjusting the bottom spring platform independently, allowing a percentage change in spring rate.
Ive had my coil overs checked and adjusted on a shock dyno and I use 12kg front coils which were also matched once I’d arrived at my chosen ride height ....
vw don’t make it easy !!!

Looks like a really fun track. Getting pro pics is nice too! Its crying out for more front camber in that last pic
I know, I know....I haven't installed the TT components yet... Way to much going on.
.. But look at that shine suspension working hard
I was able to do an oil and filter change the other day with the car on level ground without jacking it up haha..
