This is a nice Bora! Ive seen it driving around Wagga a bit. It had some pretty tight fitment with those BMW wheels!

Thanks buddy! You live in Wagga? There's a few nice jetta's around!

Unfortunately, it's not looking so flash at the moment; had to put the stock wheels and Tyres back on the front because some idiot (me) didn't get a wheel alignment after doing the gearbox swap. Shredded a set of Tyres in 3000km. 50mm toe-in will do that!
To top it off, I lose my license for 3 months on the 22nd. I guess it will give me some time to fix some things up while it is off the road!

Yeah I live in Wagga town. I think I may have heard your car before I saw it due to the wheels rubbing!

Had a good weekend, got a fair bit done. R32 hub carriers, new bearings, R32 lower control arms, new ball joints, new tie rods. For those who don't know, R32 hubs and lower control arms correct the suspension geometry of lowered cars. They also gave me -2 degrees camber. Finally got rid of the axle binding issues as well. Very good mod!

So over the last couple of months, I have been restoring my set of BBS Impuls. Couldn't have done it without the help of a few mates, especially Zale. Fully polished lips and full height hex caps, gold spike bolts. Really happy with how they turned out and glad that we got them done, just in time for DOVW.

Picked up some new Euro number plates on my way down to Melbourne. I think they really finish the car off.

Anyway, here are some photos from DOVW on the weekend.

Installed some IDF 3/4" engine mount spaces on the weekend. Also got some rear drop plates from IDF that I still need to install, along with new rear hubs and bearings.

Driveshafts are closer to the body now, unfortunately. But at least I have raised the engine up above the subframe.

Still a few things to do in preparation for Halfway Hangs in February.
