Wow, Congratulations! (Lol, The Stu NSW)
Is a Black Bora becoming a trend or something? Is there a Black Bora Club that I didn't know?

So had a busy day yesterday with the help of Zalemate.

Out came the angle grinder for the vortex swaybar delete

In went some TA Technix coilovers from dylan8 and on went my trusty old BMW X5 wheels.

Will need a chassis notch to go any lower, already a lot of grinding going on! Had to notch 1mm off coilovers since it was rubbing a bit.

For those that aren't in the know, here is the same wheels on my 4Motion Bora

Also forgot that I fitted new pads and rotors a fortnight ago.
Upgraded from the 288mm stock fronts to 312mm.
Thanks to Seb at Euro Automotive for the assistance!

Changed my engine oil and filter on Thursday night at midnight in Sydney before departing home to Wagga.
Only didn't even make it to Gundagai though......
Managed to run over a winch off the side of a truck at 4am. Dragged it 100m down the highway with sparks and cement shooting out the sides and back. The subframe is bent beyond repair, and it smashed my gearbox housing. So was stuck on the side of the road until about 8:30am, when luckily my father and mate came with a trailor to pick me up. Hopefully I can weld the gearbox back up, but pretty pissed its left me without any transport!

Mate I hope you used some ratchets to tie it down properly.
But seriously, such a bummer! So unlucky

Last weekend, with the help of Seb at Euro Automotive, I got my hands on a replacement gearbox, subframe, new clutch, throwout bearing and single mass flywheel. Also grabbed some new engine, gearbox and dogbone mounts.

So, had a busy day yesterday with the help of a couple of mates.
Managed to get the car jacked up and gearbox out in around 2 hours. Went and had some lunch, bought some gearbox oil and came back to put it all back together. Managed to finish most of it that night. Ran into a few problems; managed to bend one of the shifter cables a bit, so reverse, 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear a bit stiff to get into. Still runs like brand new now, though.
Also had a bit of a scare when I first started the car up and the clutch pedal went straight to the floor. Thoughts of taking the gearbox back out filled my head. Luckily, I just had to bleed the clutch slave, phew!
Thought the car deserved a treat once I got it running again, so fitted it's new shoes.

I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story
