That car looks sensational. I was very close to getting a white Bora 4Mo a few years back and it's the best colour for them. They're pretty rare and you've got a great example there. Nice work!

Nicee...Starting to love the Bora more and more !

Hopefully will be taking ownership of the family's '02 V5 in some time. Would have been much nicer if it was a V6 4-Motion but nothing is ever 100%!

How much did those pedals set you back, the stock plastic/rubber ones are looking is pretty terrible condition now...

Well I think it's time that I started a build thread for this project. Things are finally starting to take off! Work is being done by Seb at Euro Automotive.
The plan is for 400hp at the wheels on daily tune.
So far I have:
MkV R32 engine
GT3582R
Intercooler and piping
3" down pipe,
440cc injectors (probably wont be big enough)
Exhaust manifold
3" exhaust mid section.

Originally purchased another 2.8 24v with plans to rebuild that. I then came across the R32 engine with a rebuilt cylinder head (one less hassle). Unfortunately, it had rusty bores and unknown internal damage. I decided to take the risk so had the engine sent to Seb. The engine was stripped and the carnage was discovered. Seems that the engine had sucked in water and hydro locked. Crankshaft, pistons and rods were bent and cracked beyond repair. Luckily, I was already going to replace the pistons with low compression forged items and forged Intergrated Engineering rods. The block turned out to be fine except for the rusty bores, so is being bored 0.5mm.
I have sourced a used crankshaft from the UK, so that is on it's way here now.
