hahahaha, thats a story for the grandkids if i ever heard one.
If your pod sat back towards the firewall a bit more, id suggest you create a box for it, which would start right where you want it covered up. Otherwise, you could mount the catch there, but it would stick out like dogs balls.. Need any fuse relocation?
Or mask and paint just the arch. Shouldnt be much of a job.

That makes me wonder if I can put the fuse box that usually sits on the battery over it....... Hmmm
Why? The battery is in the boot. Just running the line straight to it, so doesn't really matter where I put it.
Hmmm I thought the shorter the connect to important fuses like that the better? Maybe wrong though
That's a classic mistake - you need a fuse at the battery
If the heavy wire to the fuse box ever get's cut or shorted it has access to a few hundred amps
I've heard stories from auto electricians about the long wire to the fuse box glowing red and sparking and starting a fire

APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks

Good point. Guess we could put another fuse at the battery?
Put a battery master switch in but NOT a fuse or circuit breaker ....
Otherwise your introducing something else to go wrong ....
KISS... Keep it simple Simon ...
