Solid weekend working on it, although ran into a few problems. So, not as much progress as I would have liked.
Cut down the exhaust manifold heat shield to fit over the turbo and some (lol) of the wastegate. Gave it a quick coat of Caliper paint.
Made up the water feed line for the turbo.
Fitted boost piping, which was going without drama's until we got to the piece that runs up behind the radiator on the passenger side and into the throttle body. Had problems with getting it to fit with the top and bottom radiator hoses. Modified both hoses, but still didn't give enough clearance. Ended up having to use a bit of scrap 45 degree tubing that we had laying around. Gave it a coat of paint so it looked the part. Not sure what we are going to do with this though, as not 100% happy with the fit, and the fact that this piece of pipe doesn't have a rolled edge, so could pop off under boost.
Cut the oil lines for the cooler to size and bolted them up.
Small miscellaneous things like moving the power steering bottle to clear boost piping, vacuum lines to intake manifold, notice my Audi R8 coolant and oil caps
Rad support and reo bar bolted up for now, but not sure if they will need to come back off again.
Things left to do:
Wiring harness for rear 044 Fuel Pump
Wiring harness for ignition
Water return to turbo
Battery relocation to boot
Small amount of trimming out of front bumper to clear intercooler and oil cooler
BOOOOOOOOOST!
