Would be cool to have both my Boras there!

What a car mate!
Started as a stock 4mo and going to end as something wild!
Love the work you've done to the car. Something I'd be too scared and tightarse to do
What sort of power figures are you hoping for?
On a side note with the wheels at 8" front & 9" rear - do they tuck under or sit flush under the guards? Also, what's your offset?
I have 8.5" & 9.5" wheels and I just got defected for them protruding too far out![]()

Thanks mate, hoping for at least 300kw.
The wheels are:
18x8.5 ET35 with 235/40/18
18x9.5 ET40 with 265/35/18
They sit pretty flush with the guards, which is what I was hoping for. Need to do somthing with the rear though, rubs a fair bit.
300kw? Holy moses. You should be able to get a healthy 220-230kws of that at the 4 wheels which is fantastic. A Nice 130kw pwr at the wheels! That's the kind of figures the GC8 STi Pretza's made.
I'm surprised that these wheels are 8.5's & 9.5's. It must be the offset that helps you sit flush with the guards. I need to find rims with the same offset.
Have rolled your guards? You'll probably need to stiffen up the springs to ensure less rear travel. Shotgun not being a rear passenger though![]()

Is that enough power to do a skid? I want to build a bora that can do a skid. Doesn't have to be fully sick smoke em up ulleh 11sies, a little screech from one of the front wheels would suffice... just enough to impress all the boys and beat my mates pushbike. How many turbos would I need?
Don't need a turbo to do a skid, uleh!

More exciting updates.
Chris from Castle Hill Exhaust has been working his magic on the intercooler, boost and intake piping. 2.5" Aluminium piping, bigger MAF housing, hidden diverter valve on passenger side. Crazy how quickly he knocked this up, too!
Piping will be coated black to tie in with the rest of the engine bay
