I'm not familar with the stroker kit for our engines.
How much displacement are we talking and does it come with forged rods and pistons?
My mechanic has to drop the engine to do all the work for my turbo upgrade and told me if I wanted to get pistons and rods now would be the best time.
Which sounds good but should I consider buying a stroker kit instead, what would be the benefits
Thanks in advance

What kind of turbo is it to drop the engine?
Sebs fitted a gt2871r to a golf 4 gti without dropping the engine.
Also if your going to build the engine with a stroker you better do your research. Lots of people have smashed piston skirts because they didnt clearance the oil squirters correctly

I would have thought that the extra 0.20L is hardly worth investing in, especially since you already have a larger turbo and I assume a tune that goes with it. Just do forged rods and pistons - If you really want to spend the money. Could then go some extra boost, provided you have the tune for it. Just my 2c.
Anybody else want to contribute?
