Why do you want a short runner?
Will only cost you torque on an NA engine.
Think he is meaning just a pod filter rather than intake mani. Right Sam?

If that is case Sam, than no. You don't need to reset it. You won't notice a difference with a different filter other than an almighty ROAR!
im mainly chasing the sound . . not looking for any performance improvements really .. im running stock exhaust and just want to hear it a bit .. pod it is .. watch this space

Could you please let me know how this goes and any improvements etc, I've been thinking about doing this for a while but haven't quite got around to it yet.
will do mate , im not expecting anything great .. the sound will be "sexy" .. throttle response might improve .. fuel economy will go down for sure .. partly due to the ecu not being tuned for the abundance of air .. and partly because i will be putting my foot down to listen to said "Sexy sound" ..
