have a side on photo of your car on flat ground?

Yes it can be the case that it wont lower it at all or possibly be a touch higher

here is a side on pic of my car on flat ground , my front bar / sump have been taking a beating in the last few months so i wanna do something about my suspension soon , i also have 16" GTI BBS rims to go on that should lift it a little too , im trying to get a bit of ground height and trying to get rid of some of the gap between the tyre and the guard at the same time

springs look ok height wise, thats not far off what mine looked like with only 60k km. What size tyre do you have on the current wheels and im guessing standard 205/55/16s on the gti wheels?

the rims / tyres on it are 185/70/14's and the new ones are 205/55/16's im going to wait till my new wheels are on before i do suspension , but the way the springs are / look is about right for a car with 153xx on the clock ??
