I think offset on std VW rims is between +38 to +42 (my std Sport alloys are +42), with the PCD being 5x100. By the looks of those rims, they'd prob be a 5x112 fitment (they look like a pretty late-model rim to me). I hope that helps mate.
hi there, just wondering if anyone knows what is the standard spec of the rim for bora pcd, ET? I'm looking at rs6, r32 rims or this rim.

But i need to know the specs of the rim before i start shopping around.
if any one can help me that would be great.

I believe that the standard 16" wheels are 16x6.5, ET38, and the standard 17" wheels are 17x7.5, ET38. All PCD 5x100.
As madglf3 mentioned, I'm 99% sure the wheels in that eBay sale would be 5x112, so you'd need adapter plates to fit them (expensive, dubious legality, drastically changes the overall offset, pushing the wheels outwards).
Nothing to see here...
My standard 16s are +42, but they are from my Golf (if that makes any difference).

I'm 99% sure those wheels would be 5x112 PCD (as they look to be a Mk5 rim), so no.
You'd think a wheel/tyre merchant could put ALL the relevant detail into their ads, wouldn't you...

those wheels won't fit a bora no.
these will http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AUDI-18-WHEEL...lenotsupported
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ROTA-G-Force-...3286.m20.l1116 these will with spacers

they would be my ebay picks for a bora.
if you want to go to a store instead, a lot better options.
buy 18s, as 17s still look quite small on a bora/golf.
What’s behind you doesn’t matter..
"buy 18s, as 17s still look quite small on a bora/golf"
I'm concern about felling the bump on the road if I put 18's coz I have to have a low profile tyre, and with the 17's I’ll still have a little bit better ride, by the time I’ve done my coil over. I hate hearing and felling or creating any rattle inside the car so I’ll try to avoid anything that will cause it if I can. I’m not being negative I do appreciate your help but I think I’ll stick with the 17’s but I will do some good homework if there is any solution if I end up with the 18’s. I love the audi rims but.
