Right Door courtesy light not working

    Hi,

Recently purchased a 98 Golf Mk4 (4 door), realised right door courtesy light wasn't working, so I bought and replaced the bulb today but it is still not working. Was wondering if there is an individual fuse to this light (i doubt so but not sure) as the left door light is working. And where is this fuse?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would have thought it is more likely to be the door switch? Maybe it is stuck?

Suspect the microswitch in the module is the blame mate. Yes it will be locking ok but not triggering the light. you can check the microswitch state with Vcds
