    Welcome BoraFied
I suggest you post in the MK4 section - the bora comes under that category and you will get more replies.
ECS Tuning should have the chrome strip you are after - see link below. Other than that check on gumtree/eBay for anybody wrecking a bora.

    moved the thread for you.
lots of people want those (both rear doors)
I was lucky to score one off a car getting parted.

were cheap as from ECS in the past, but have doubled in price and postage is a killer on such an item.
I had quotes of about $270 from VW AUS, but someone on here suggested you could get the trim for the whole car for $100-200, something worth looking into if you can find someone else missing a trim from another door and go halves in it?

    Thanks guys,

I have been looking for someone wreaking a Bora, but as yet no luck.
Also is it possible to replace the strip on my own or do I need a specialist? Any where I can find instructions, visual instructions will be great.

    Cheers

the chrome strip is just glued/taped to the trim.
My biggest problem with getting a new one was getting it off the trim without bending/damaging it.
re fitting will require some glue/tape and steady hands, maybe some tape to hold it there while drying
