Remember Bee's engine? 104 plaque (NSW) BMP (Byron)- water damage.

    Bee's Hydrolocked Engine

I give you the wonders of hydrolocking. Being pulled down and rebuilt for a Tarmac Rally Engine in TAS. Bee parts of your car still live although these ones are going in the bin. Other than a couple of bent rods and scuffed pistons the remainder is remarkably undamaged.

    Enjoy

    Cheers Al

Not a lot, enough to fill the top of the cylinder, fluids aren't compressible hence the damage.

    Nasty...

    From the tex:
'The 3.2L already has a 95.9mm stroke. I doubt that you'll see anyone make something bigger. As for bore, the largest I've seen on a 2.8L based engine is 86mm, which required clearancing of the piston skirts for the rods using a 90.3mm stroke. An 86mm bore would put you at 3342cc. If you want big power, leave the internals alone & use a turbo. You'll need to go above 550bhp before you need internals.'

95.9 is pretty long stroke eh

They were just amazed that it was all the damage basically that was done though its not like Bee didn't try and kill it good.
