Hey mate, when looking for wheels (or at least when I was) I think its really important to know what you're looking for ie. PCD, offset, centre bore, what width will fit etc (there is a sticky somewhere iirc). It is also important to know your states laws regarding aftermarket wheels. A place in Sydney called tempe Tyres sells reps for very good prices, I got my aristo reps with kuhmo ku31s for $1500 and they shipped them all to Brisbane for $100. I'd also keep an eye on eBay and the 'for sale' section here. The key is to be patient, you never know what great deals will pop up.

    x2.

Tempe Tyres sell nice looking wheels, but they are not the same quality as OEM/BBS rims. They scratch easily and are a lot heavier then the real deal.
On the upside, when my MRS kisses a another curb, I just sigh and tell myself at least they didn't cost an arm and a leg.

    hi all,

Thanks for your honest and tipful replies, yeah its pretty hard to find a decent set of rims for a MK4 when its 5x100, 57.1 centre bore (or what you call it lol) +38 (standard)

I just want my car to look chubby without having to roll the gaurds out lol and yes, as a student i would want a replica =]

Ill go have a look at tempe tyres on the holiday to see if there anything i like there =]
BB5 r5... though i love mesh but BBS LM looks better... NOT sure... dammit... hahah do you link bb5 r5 is better looking that bbs LM Dylan?

not sure... bbs rs dont exist over 17" (except for one with over sized lips or SuperRS), so if you want 18s get LM's, itll look more realistic.
Id say RS are more played on mk4s. But comes down to personal taste dude.
And you pick up the real things for next to nothing if you look hard enough and understand what you need/want.
