    Rear bumpstops? Need advice

Have any of you modified the rear bumpstops on your cars?

At the moment my car rests on them and I want to go lower.

Can I cut them (I don't want any exposed metal) or should they be removed and replaced with shorter aftermarket parts?

Just to make sure, the rear bumpstop is the two bits that sit above and below the rear springs?? Is it rubber straight through or bits of metal covered in rubber?

Bump stops are usually there to stop your suspension from being able to travel any lower, as you'll bottom out...

I know you can go lower with some cars than that, but yeah.

How low's the car now? PICS!
