    Rattle on the drivers side?

    Hey guys,

Well when i havent been playing the music ive noticed a rattling sound on the drivers side. It happens upon acceleration but also rarely on decceleration.

It seems to be coming from the right side of the engine or tacometer. I'm not to sure what it is any suggestions?

I recently put in new underguards for the the front of the car. Maybe they havent been put on properly? (however im sure they have)

Can you be more specific? Engine or tacho, there's quite a difference in terms of position in the car.

Re the underguards, are you sure or not?

Be aware that you're talking about a car coming up to 6 or more years old, some rattles are going to start happening for most of us unfortunately.
    Nothing to see here...

Recently have similar issue, when just start moving forward, gear 1->2 (auto), can hear a clear "noise" coming from the engine area. It sounds like a "pong" or some sort of ignition sound, but only appears when changing gear from 1->2 (sooner of after). Very strange.

its definetly from the engine bay but very close to the taco if you know what i mean. like it sounds as if its behind the taco meter.

anyway ive checked the guards and ive def put them on properly. Any ideas?

I understand its 6 years old now but still i look after the car hence i expect it to stay well and good lol !

It could be anything, saying you've got a rattle isnt really a help at all, there is literally a thousand things it could be in the engine bay. If you're worried about it, or if its affecting anything with the way the car drives, take it to someone locally and get them to listen to it.
