Nice, HPA I guess? Is that 425hp kit? Any upgrades to engine hardware itself?
Do you have to pull W/IC out to service air filter and brake fluid?

There seem to be many small differences between USA and Australian R32, maybe here we got Euro model???
My MK V engine hardware is slightly different to images I seen of the MK V in USA.
We also have brake booster on the other side of engine bay, nice and close to exhaust pipe. Yours is on the left?
Jay's kit is not HPA. He pieced together the conversion himself, and did most of the work himself or with a couple of helping hands, and most of the work was down in his own garage.

And trust me when I say that down low, the R has not lost any of its N/A sound... Having ridden in it several times (he still won't let me drive it... :p ), the thing is insane when it hits boost!! once the clutch slipping issues have been sorted out, the R will be in its element!!

My turbo harware set up is all custom by me with C2 stage 2+ software. I run raceware head bolts and Arp rod harware and Vf mounts.
I run a custom CAI so I jack up the car and remove the plastic splash gaurd to remove the filter. I have to remove 1 pc of silicone to get to the brake reservoir.

you can get a high end ecu for a jap car installed and tuned for about 4k. Wirring for a gold would possibly be more difficult, so probably budget 5k.

You dont need a standalone Ecu just talk to Chris(C2) or Lavi(unitronic) and send them your ecu and they will flash it and mail it back for less than a 1000$. A standlone would be a waste of money.

I don't think anyone will argue that NA doesn't sound better, I get a hard on when I cruise down the highway in 3rd and give it a punch, let off the throttle and listen to it burble! But to me, a car putting out 450hp on a fairly base turbo kit really does compensate for loosing that sound, it depends what you're into in a car i guess, but in most cases I know i'd certainly go performance>asthetics (i dont think you could call the sound asthetics though, stuffs me what it'd be called?). But at the same time, the videos of turbo .:Rs which i've heard still sound freakin' badass!

Hey to anyone running the C2 software turbo software any chance i can ask a few q's?

With the R32's, they run dual bank 02 dont they? With the exhaust setup are the two front 02 sensors seperated in the manifold or combined in the dump pipe?

And does running the C2 software disable your esp/traction control? Reason i ask is all the videos i've seen on youtube show the traction control light on permanently even when just cruising along?

    Cheers

    Yes I am running C2 stage 2 + .:R32 software.
With my set up (pagparts exhasut manifold) I have a O2 sensor on the left and right side of the exhaust manifold. But some other kits run both in the DP. As for my rear O2's I had them written out of the software, but they are in the pipe just for looks along with a high flow cat because my import paperwork says I have to have them.

No my ESP/traction control is not disabled but I do drive with it off most of the time Cheers J

Also Im not sure about how you boys say a FI R32 looses the exhaust note. Mines the same just a bit louder underboost.:-0
