Okay I have been speaking with Jon at ECS regarding getting all four rotors as a package with free shipping and they have come up with the following deal.

We have had several requests for a front / rear combo. The pricing on the OEM rears is still high, so we have a package that includes the OEM Front Rotors with Zimmerman rears also including free shipping.

I have ordered a set and at todays exchange rate it came to
    489.95 USD = 581.040 AUD

That is around $30.00 more than VW Australia is charging for ONE front rotor and we are getting all FOUR!!!!

    Get your orders in people.....

Not really, it took longer to ship the package from Mascot airport, than it did from ECS to Australia.

    thanks for the info

thats what i have done , went for better pads and for the oil i went for the pentosin blue stuff ( dot4 ) and ordered front and back rotors same size but slotted (ATE premium one ) just need to get the braided lines any suggestions
where to get ADR compliant ( going to the track on the 17th sep for the first time i think i think i will need the break more then anything to start with any tips for the first timer will be greatly appreciated ) thank you all

For pads, there's plenty of options. Ferodo DS2000/TS2000/Ferodo Performance are all the same as far as I'm aware, and should be decent. GSLRallySport have some QFM pads that they're offering good prices on that you could consider too.

For fluid, get Super DOT4 or DOT5.1 - they're the same thing. Don't go for DOT5 (it's not compatible with most brake systems).

When it comes time to replace your rotors, DBA do some decent rotors - their slotted street series to suit a Bora V6 4Motion are about $180 a pair for the fronts, rears are about $160 a pair - for V5/4-cylinder models you'd probably pay a little less. For around $260 a pair IIRC, you can get slotted 4000 series rotors from DBA - they're a better overall design than the standard street ones, and would probably handle a bit of light track work a little better if that's your thing.

The next step then would probably be braided lines - if you go that way, just make sure they're ADR compliant (and marked as such - if they're not marked, they're not compliant, despite what some places will try to tell you).

I got mine from HEL Performance in Qld. They charged $60 per front line, which is pretty cheap. I supplied them with a line which they could copy - turns out I supplied them with a standard Bora line, so I'm trying to rustle up a proper R32 front line (and rear line) that I can ship to them to copy.
