Having learnt the hard way, ANY lowering will affect the rear geometry and push your camber (and a little bit of toe) out of alignment. You will end up wearing the insides of the rear rubber out thru a combo of the camber lean and the toe dragging the tyre across the road.

A drop of 0-1" will need the camber adjusted via an adjustable rear lower control arm. When you fix the camber issue for this small drop, the toe will fix itself.
A drop of 1"+ will likely need the rear upper control arm to be adjustable as well because the camber and toe will be out by a lot.

I got mine from Gruven parts, took about 10days delivery.

Think there a quiet a few threads with missing posts. Remember seeing a message about technical issues.
Hopefully they will be back !.

    hi mate

we did lose a bit of this thread, but wanted to ask as the Aussie Gruven rep guy, have you ever had any manufacturing defect issues on the adj control arms?

I was at a shop getting mine fitted to correct my rear camber (and a bit of toe as a result) but one side was binding as they were trying to align it and change my camber. we took it off and had a proper look and the welding must've applied massive heat to the thread on the Shock end of the arm (not the rose joint) and warped it. its basically rendered the arm useless. the best adjustment i could get was 0.25" positive (it started at a massive 3" pos).

Think i can get an exchange unit? I'd be after a bit of trust on Gruven's side to send an exchange arm over and i could fit it and then send back mine so that my car isn't off the road. thoughts?

After emailing Paul at Gruven, he responded in about 10mins. thats pretty awesome. Just working out how best to proceed.

By the way, as a plug for Gruven i just noticed they do powdercoating in black as well as blue - i just think the blue looks rad.
