wont affect noise or flow if done properly

By the time the exhaust pressure flows past the rear muffler and out the tips there shouldn't be any back pressure by then so flow will not be affected, sound? Might be a slight difference but I doubt it would be a huge issue.

I think if you want to be different and do it, go for it! 3" might be a bit big for the little MKIV? maybe 2.75" quads?
