yeh i have a hard enough time trusting some one else working on my car let alone myself. im one for disaster and i can see myself ending up stressing out and breaking something...
ill give it a look at though. but still is there any recommendations for Melbourne??.
oh and im looking for a rough pricing to.. what have u guys paid ect, what price should i look at for the tint and suspension
I had KWv2's (adjustable coilovers) fitted plus I replaced all my bushings with items from ECS tuning. All up I think it set me back 3-3.5k fitted. But these are not one of the cheaper coilovers, you could have it done for a lot less but I have never been in a Mk4 with some of the cheaper coiloivers avaliable.
I also was more looking for better handling more so than going low low so whilst it was up beingt done I had front and rear sway bars done too.

H&R coilovers on tirerack.com are around 1000US plus approx 150 shipping plus taxes you're looking at like 1400 delivered probably. plus another 200 (just a guess) for shipping. so thats around 1600. and if you're serious about handling then front and rear swaybars @ around 200 each and you're still only at about 2k. and thats a pretty damn good suspension setup.
window tinting shouldnt be more than 300. i paid 200 for mine.

How much do you want to spend?
B&G coilovers from USA are sik. They will go low enough for you. About $1500 shipped.
KW2 won't go lower than maybe 1-2 finger gap at the rear, and that's with the upper spring perch removed. These coilovers handle nicely though - have them on my Bora and cornering is awesome!
However I have now removed the rears with a custom setup to lower and now have about 3cm of tuck. KW fronts are fine and will go low as you want.
wow, some of the prices are impresive on there, for a little extra than what a decent shock/spring combo can be had for here, you can get a set of coils
has anyone had any experience with any of the brands on there, or know how much postage would be? thinking that the previously mentioned $200 mark is a little on the cheap side considering the weight of the package etc

i wanna dump it down to the wheel arch, like vweapn in his picture thread. so pretty low. so from what i gather im gona be looking around 1500 or so. i already have stiff suspension (racing) cant remeber the brand. but its lower than stock and much more stiff. i still want good handling aka i dont want it to turn out like a boat. also i was wondering if you guys no any sited for 99gti accessories like chrome light covers and stuff like that???
