dylan, true it does need more at the front but will have to wait till after its all setup properly and notched. i haven't had a bora, my last mk4 was a gold golf slammed on simmons. after you put the porsche rims on yours it got me inspired again to do something with the golf.

woody, hope you feelin better heres where i got my info regarding the works.

hmmm mines needing notching or at least making a little bit more room too. Still going down the coil path as per your gold one?
HAHA good to see people getting inspired to do mk4s again.

dang i was eyeing that gti, how much did you pick it up for at the auctions if you don't mind me asking? Why not repair it and rock a white gti?

the white one was mint but had a bent floor pan thats way i decided to do the conversion.
it has been a long time since i last updated but car was completed and has been for a few months now. it took 3 long full days to do the full conversion this included changing the full loom as i found out the hard way that later model mk4 gti's have a single loom not front and back sections like early models. everything has been bought across from the gti but the sunroof which is still in the works.

ran some 16" simmons for a bit,

    currently wheel are 18" simmons

as of today its now a multi-coloured bolf with oem silver trim instead of the woodgrain.

will get some better pictures soon.
    cheers
