made a new thread to keep it very dedicated just to the progress of the car and get constructive feedback on mods and what i could do and any help i need and to show off the car a little
2001 24v VR6 AUE 4motion Bora
picked her up from Melbourne back in Early Feb and drove her home - thanks to Samuel Wood for helping me find the car and giving me a place to crash when i came down !!

- BC BR Super Low Coilovers w/ 30way Adjustable damping
- Powerflex -10mm drop strut tops
- Pod filter for the good sound and a bit of pick up

- new headlight covers plastic $30
- MK5 GTI Red Stitched Steering Wheel
- mk3 12v Steel Sump
- Hella Magic Clears (First set in Australia for mk4 platform I'm pretty sure, anyone else got them ? or know anyone who does?)
- Sony Radio - nothing fancy just to keep me happy on those long drives

- Shaved Boot - with licence holder/or US Spec Jetta boot without boot lip (for the smaller VDUBBN Plates)
- R32 Brake Conversion
- Bora R or GLI - Side Skirts painted White
- GLI front & Rear Valance - painted white
- New front rubstrip - will keep the chrome just don't want the plate indent
- Magnet Licence Plate Mod - Just like having the plate off the front
- Stubby antenna
- Tucked Bay - Remove emissions - Expansion tank delete ( replace with an overflow connected straight to the Rad ) - battery relocation to the boot - polished Rocker cover - wiper fluid tank removed - Intake Mani and Rad Support Wrapped with a carbon fibre overlay ( not the wrap but true carbon, i like the look, link - https://flic.kr/p/KtXjD7 ) - new coil pack wiring and spark wiring ( tucked under intake mani ) - tucked engine wiring

now onto the car
day i picked the car up
got my new BC BR Coils straight from DUBTUNED
cleaned the bay up a little - Painted the engine cover to match the bay ( keep it clean look ) and then my mate james did a home hydro dip job which actually came out pretty awesome and sortve matching my woodgrain trim

Then after putting big holes in 2 alloy mk4 sumps i moved to a 12v vr6 mk3 steel sump and it saved me heaps !!
still going strong even after a few sparks and harsh driving
painted my other 4motion lip white and put it on and will be painting my rear valance the same. the finish came out really **** imo, when i repaint both lips i will be sure to sand waaaay more and put a heavy primer on so the paint doesn't chip and crack.
