Thread: Pancake intercooler pipe

    Pancake intercooler pipe

Another question I have after my day of stuffing around with the car...

Frankee mentioned it to me on the vic cruise but it wasn't untill I stuck my head up in the guard that I really noticed it. The pipe running into the SMIC on the 1.8T looks to be quite rubbish and apears to be very restrictive. Has anyone replced this and did you notice much of a difference?

Just curious - I thought this would be a bit of a no brainer after seeing it. If you have, where did you get the replcement from and how much was it?

    Im in 2...

But im wondering whether its worth actually getting a front mount...the neuspeed one is pretty good all it requires is a bit of modifying the front bar and its not very noticeable.

Group buy sounds good. Let's see what interest we can gather. Is it the same pipe for the pogo too? Dave - do you wanna have a look into that perhaps?
