Paint Code for Black 03 Bora

Hey,

Ive been looking around a fair bit, on this site and others, and cant find anything on the black paint code for the 2003 Bora (V6 4motion). Theres plenty on the Mk 2's and 3's, but not on the 4's. Doesnt say it on the compliance plate either. Does anyone know the correct code for it? Even the actual name of the black would help.

ive got a black MK4 GTI and bought a can of black paint the other day, the code was L041, not sure if its the same for the Bora, i assume it would be...

Have a look in your boot well where the spare tyre goes or in your manual for the sticker that has all the codes and details for your car. Your paint code will be there.
It's option number 1. You'll have the engine code, then gearbox code and then on the second line you will have the paint code with a lot of "-" following it and then another code.

Thanks Treaza, I'd checked the compliance and all the other plates and didnt find anything. Didnt realize that sticker in the well had the codes on it. The one in mine was hidden under the trim, had to pop some of it off to find it.

For anyone whose in the same boat, the paint code is LC9Z, and the trim colour is ZZ
