Well after selling the R and biting my tongue for a couple of weeks with only Graeme knowing my plans, I have finally joined the P car club!

I flew into Sydney today and finalised the deal on the following going

From the R32

TO THIS 1978 PORSCHE 911 SC - 74 WIDEBODY IROC RSR REPLICA

3 pages of various images and spec sheets ARE HERE

The car is known to me with a good friend having purchased it in 2002 after a ground up restoration in 1999 / 2000, since then he has done most of the changes to 74 IROC RSR spec and added the other Rennline parts / upgrdes other than the front and rear bars & oil cooler move which I will complete along with some nice throaty tweaks to the intake and exhaust area .

It is an absolute weapon and a blast to drive and is in immaculate condition with no expense spared on the bare chassis and engine rebuilds with some nice upgrades to the power area which was done by Porsche Cars Australia in 99 / 2000. The car was featured in the November 2009 Edition of GT Porsche Magazine and i have a copy of it ordered and on the way to go with the extensive documentation of the whole build from the start in 99 to present day.

Car will be in Brisbane by the second week in October and is being shipped up in a private carrier who will also bring the various sets of spare wheels, tyres, roll bars and so on.

More info to come as I get to know the car and start the process of finishing the 74 IROC RSR tribute over the coming months / year.

Cheers Al
