Opinion on roofracks on a MK4 Bora

Alot of dubbers overseas seem to fit roofracks on there mk4 golf's and bora's purely for the look.

I want all your opinions weather it's a good or bad look?

As long as there's a dirty rusty old barrel on the roof!!

But honestly, I don't mind them if they can pull of the Euro look.

I don't mind them, but I prefer the look without them.

Not to mention the increase in fuel consumption due to increased drag, and the wind noise around them at speed...

you gotta be low to pull off the look otherwise it'll look like a small 4WD

Yeh they look good but umm the wind noise and increased fuel consumption as manaz says isnt worth it. Just gets annoying after a while.

What sort of roof racks? and colour? Could look sweet as you sit pretty low
