Springs have settled nicely now too, will get some more pics.
Gotta stop using my point-and-shoot and get the SLR out tho.

So, I dont have pics for this stuff yet, but ...
I replaced the front passenger CV boot. What a ****ter of a job that was!! I reckon I could do it bloody quickly now if given another shot. My advice: Dont leave the shaft in, take the whole lot out, its so hard to manipulate the boot and get the joint off.
I also sprayed my front calipers and disc hubs gloss black. I'm a 'less is more' kinda guy and I'm digging the understatement of the black.
Going to sand down and respray the wheels next. Got all the stuff to do it, need to remove the traces of its previous owner from the spokes.
The car hasnt been washed in forever, so I'll give it a clean and get some snaps.
loving the ride so far; thanks for the ebay link--i'm going to repalce the door interior trim as well...

Its been a while since I updated this, but thats cause nothing has happened...![]()
I got rushed to hospital for emergency open heart surgery a while back and its kinda slowed me down a little.
A few weeks ago I got a cool car bra, but my car sat in the weather and rain for weeks while I was in hospital and its looking a little worse off. I'll put it back on once its clean.
But, today, despite doctors orders not to lift anything, I trial fit my new wheels to one side of the car. I can't leave them on as the front tyres are showing the radials and need replacing, also I think the rears are just a little too close to the strut for comfort.
(Sorry for crap iPhone pics)
(Also, front lip is off so I can get it on ramps)

18x8 ET50 front
I have a 35mm adapter on the back and there *might* be enough room to fit a paddle pop stick between the rim and strut (and the rim rests against the strut and top of the spring housing when jacked up.) I'm not too comfortable with this and as you can see, I can afford another 5mm poke, so I'll buy some 40mm adapters (I dont like the idea of using an adapter and a spacer.) The fronts are just on a 25mm adapter and are fine. Lock to lock is fine, no rubbing. I *think* when I get some new tyres, I'll get some 215/35's instead - opinions?
Keep in mind I'm still on my 30mm lowered springs only and haven't got my new coil overs yet, so another 20mm lower will be unreal. I'd also like to clean the rims up a bit as they have some rough spots.
I also made a cool LED light strip for in my boot so I can actually find stuff in the dark. I'll take pics of this once the car is a little cleaner.
Also to do soon;
- Neuspeed Power Pulleys
- ECS cooling system revamp with billet crack pipe
- New serpentine belt (mine is cracked to hell)
- Car is desparate for a clean, inside and out.
they look perfect on your rig mate. grouse wheels.

WOW! good to see you came through the operation mate, take it easy!
i wouldnt go 215/35/18s on a mk4 unless your fairly sacked. sidewall starts looking too small and youll end up with huge wheel gap.
interesting your almost touching with the 10et27... i managed to run 10et32 and 10et37 fine... must be a fair old difference with the 4mo setup.
Have to do the LED strip in my boot too, its so dark even with LED globes in the standard position
