    Thanks Dylan!

Ok, so I'll look for some 215/40's for the front.

I noticed when reading about other mk4's running 10's that the fwd mk4's have a vertical strut wheras my strut is at 30 degrees or so, so there must be a fair bit of spacing difference too. I guess once I drop another 20mm in the rear, it'll tuck a little and allow me to have another 5mm spacing.

I changed my serpentine belt over the weekend. The old one looked like it didn't have much life left in it.

Its a bit noisy now, its all seated correctly though, so just hoping that it settles down. Could also be that I spilled power steering fluid on it.

I wouldn't have bought the US specced headlights as they are inferior to the euro specced ones that came as standard on the Bora.
ECS tuning do black euro specced headlights.

Next up, Big Brake Kit from ECS, Cold Air Intake, Coilovers.

So $462.47 delivered for those ones from ECS or ~$130 delivered for my ones (its pretty easy to say euro 'spec' too). I knew they were cheap when I got them, they were always going to be an interim replacement but they're fine and include the fog lights. I'm planning on Joey'ing my stockers and doing a Bi-Xenon retrofit now also which will be cool.

As promised, pics of the LED's in the boot now that its clean.

As usual, I couldnt be bothered getting my camera, so I just used my phone.

    The improved light

    The LED strip

I have a few other ideas for small, strategically placed LED's through the car, I'll update as I do them.

    Price is always an issue
Love what you have done so far, I was considering clean skinning mine but at the moment I'm kinda attached to the 4 mo badge, not so much the great big WV roundels
If it would stop raining enough to give my car a proper clean and get some photos I will do some work in photoshop to see just how far I want to go.
Boser bonnet is high on the list along with LED tails, coilovers and the projector headlights, I might even have a long hard think about forced induction, lets just see how much my daughters university is going to rape my wallet for first.

Sounds good! Yeah, while my daughters are not at uni age yet, school is still damaging to the car fund.

Gave mine a big clean yesterday, fell in love with it again. Dont want to drive it now incase it gets dirty

    An update.

I finally got my coilovers! I spent the weekend installing them, although I should have spent the weekend doing my cooling system (I bought the ECS cooling system kit thing with the billet crack pipe cause mine leaks.)

Also, sold my Porsche rims to Ray, the money is going to fund a few bits n pieces, I need new rear discs and pads, also I want to get a short shifter.

I bought some S3 wheels to wear, because I want to finally clean up my stockers and maybe spray them a dark silver or graphite colour.

Car looks great, need to raise it a smidge, getting a little bit of rubbing on the passenger side. The more 'full' design of the S3 rims looks awesome on it I think, I wasn't expecting them to look as good, especially with the big 45 profile tyres. Keep in mind, I need to stay practical, I have kids in the car a bit (its not the family car, but it does do family duties occasionally.)

I really need to get my camera out and take some proper shots instead of lazily using my iPhone all the time..

Also, did the worlds most stupid thing and went for a drive last night with only finger-tight front bolts on the front passenger wheel... Few clunks later, I pulled over and realised... Thank god I had a tyre iron with me... Stoopid!

How far is your sump off the ground now? Any thoughts of getting a sump guard or will you just wing it and hope for the best?
