    oil change time

    so its time to change my oil and oil filter so i thought id do it myself after work tomorrow. just wondering which oil to get? its for a 2003 vw golf 2.0 automatic. also does the oil filter matter what brand it is?

    Oil filter brand not too much of a drama, I use Ryco if I use aftermarket and they haven't let me down, although genuine wouldn't be much more if you really don't wanna risk it. Dont forget to change the sump plug / washer while your at it, nothing more annoying then when it leaks..
