OEM Medical Kit for MK4 Golf GTI

Just wanting to know what the OEM Medical kit looks like for the mk4 golf gti ?

Did it come standard when purchasing the car new or was it an optional extra?

Also was there meant to be a safety triangle and tie down for the boot area?

Triangle & First aid kit were extras.

Bunnings do an appropriate sized triangle for ~$10.

Big W (maybe target or k-mart) have reasonably stocked First Aid kit for ~$20

can't help with the tie-down

Thanks guys. Yeah the small hidden door on left hand side of boot is where they live. It seems the first aid kit, triangle and tie down for boot were all optional extras in the day. Can get the kits on ebay I noticed but I’d like to find original one if anyone has.

Interesting I found out what that tie down looks like, never seen one intact before.





Also for something different… the mk4 r32 has that rad 6 stacker cd changer that lives in that compartment too

I bought a first aid kit from St Johns Ambulance (WA) and it fits nicely in the space. It was compliant for a track day hence the purchase.

I bought a 10disc stacker from somone here which unfortunately didn't fit in the oem space, so that's velcrod to the side wall of the boot carpet. Still 10 is better than 6
