From memory the claim is 285kw at the flywheel.
I dont think many of the BT kits make the claimed power though regardless of brand.

Why do you say that? Ours always make the claimed!

Our old GTI made well in excess of 230 fwkw on Dyno Dynamics & Mainline dyno's on about 5 different occasions (even tested by Motor Magazine in the 09' Tuner shoot out by Subaru's technicians on Subaru Australia's training dyno @ 233.8 fwkw).

Talking to Stephane yesterday (he is the NZ customer with the stage 3) - it's a very fresh install, still bedding in, they had a spark plug problem (incorrect gap) that was cutting them out at the top end. Also if you watch the video, the car broke into wheelspin ~ 6000rpm.

Oh, and three stage 3 S3's recently tested on an independent dyno all made in excess of 250 all wheel kw in 40 degree heat (one from QLD, one from NSW & one from the ACT).

So who's kits are you talking about?

Just to clear things up about the MPS, I was referring to 190KW @ flywheel.

I wouldn't right off the TDI's, I think they hold their own

Can someone confirm if they use Garrets for stage 3s?
    Current:
    2023 Mk2 Tiguan R - Lapiz Blue
    2015 Mk7 Golf R Wolfsburg - Limestone Grey: Stage 2
Gone but not forgotten: 2008 Polo GTI Shadow Blue

All the APR Stage 3 kits use the Garrett GT series turbo's
