No problem. Be careful when you take it off, it might leave marks on the bumper

Took mine off tonight. You are going to have to pull off your front bumper.

To do this there are approx 7 torx screws in each wheel arch you have to remove, 5 bigger torx screws behind and underneath the front grill, 4 torx screws underneath on the splash guard, a nut behind each of the passenger and drivers side lower grilles and finally the temperature sensor behind the lower grill on the passenger side.

The front bumper should just pull off easy as now (as well as the attached splash guard. Just make sure your front grill is lifted up and out of the way (no need to detach it though) and the temp sensor is detached (you don't want to rip out the wires on that).

Now make sure your number plate is removed and then hammer through the centers of the plate holder clip thingys (a hole punch will help with this). When these push through you will be able to then use some needle nose pliers to push through the clips and the plate holder should then come off pretty easy. You'll see what I mean once you have a look behind the bumper.

A photo of how mine looks like. I've got a slimline plate coming so I'm going to get all the lovely holes filled. The 5 bigger holes are from the plate holder.

    Cheers,
    Trent

Im not sure what you mean by that but my plate holder came off fairly easy, i didn't have to take the bumper off. A bit of patience and its all good

Hmmm maybe it will come off. But it'll definitely be easier to get the clips out by doing it from behind.
I was pulling off the bumper anyway so yeah either or I guess then.

So anyway, got my bumper and everything back on. No plate holder now. See my thread for more photos.
