    Noise from left front

I recently lowered my suspension and drove it last night for the first time since. When I take off there is a creaking noise but goes away once in motion of about 30km up. I jacked the left side up and turned the tyre a degree back and forth. I held the cv shaft and thought it could be the inner cv, BUT I then jacked the other end and it did the same thing. Worse nightmare...... could be my diff in the g/box or can that be normal? The sound could be louder due to the lowered suspension. Anyone give me good news........

Strut top bearings? Mine creak every time I leave the garage in the morning.

How low: The 18 inch rim is sitting on the arch. Lowest point on the car is less than 100mm to the ground. I greased the rubber top shock mounting which took away the clunking noise when turning. Ye maybe I will have to grease the other rubber bushes under the car. Any other thoughts ?

careful about greasing them... have heard it makes them wear quicker.
