    Newbie and his 03 Bora

I just got this Bora, but I haven't the slightest clue how I can pretty it up!
Can anyone give me a quick rundown of what the big names are with VAG?

    A breakdown:
    • No performance mods
    • A nice audio system would be nice
    • Front and rear bar
    • Side skirt (if the front and rear called for it)
    • No suspension changes
    • Nothing that will make the car dip too low
    • A replacement shifter for auto (random, I know)

I know that list looks really specific, but I'm open to any ideas.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks!

Could always check out OEM / Performance Parts for Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Porsche & Volkswagen - ECS Tuning. For the rear and front bars look at either the 4motion or the R line kits but prepared for the price

If you're going to mod the exterior, the R-Line rep body kit for sale here is a bargain.

Great looking white Bora, no need to do too much, in my opinion, just change to bigger wheels, not too big 18" will do, and don't think about aftermarket shinny wheels that you see in tyre shops. Choose a set of Audi wheels. Oh, remove the little reflecting thing on the door.

I would not change the wheels, that origional design of alloys for the V5 Bora was one of VWs nicest designs ever, and suits the car perfectly.

Just keep them clean, after market wheels will cheapen the classic looks of this great car...

Thanks to all for the feedback and advice.

My Minister of Finance (saw someone use that on a post and I laughed) seems to be very opposed to work getting done on the body, but new rims and tyres are on the horizon.

Had the kid looked over by Jmac, bless his heart. Not much major stuff to take care of, but some stuff on the horizon. I'll keep posting any changes in this thread.

Any suggestions on rims would be wonderful. Tyres that complement wheel suggestions would also be appreciated.

    Thanks, gents.
