I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
I'm leaning more and more towards the GIAC of late for when I decide to bite the bulet - but to answer your question I think the concensius is clear that a fully programable one will give you the best results particularly if your looking to make big power...

Steve you may need glasses next time you go on the web
Go to apr site and on the right there is Find A Dealer in bright red letters. Then scroll down and they are all there.

All the info is out there.
I`d back it up with a phone call before parting with my dollars.
Who is most credible with their claims? Who will let you have a test flash?
How much difference will it make to your car? $ per kw?
And remember CHIP TUNING IS THE LEAST EFFECTIVE WAY OF TUNING.
Also if you change anything after the chip you surely then need a remap. A Chip should be the last thing you do to your car.
No manufacturer needs to push their wares, any prospective purchaser will look at all the options unless they are stupid and pushy salesmen only jeapardise the sale in my experience.
Finally this is a non for profit organization and any unwanted sales pitches will be deleted and the users banned.

what state you in? vic i presume?
i think your best bet is, to go for a ride in a chipped, non chipped and differently chipped/modified car to experience and speak to who you go for a drive with about the goods and bads on both chips as well. least then you can make your decision for yourself. k03's max output with mods your looking at 125-129fwkw max.
gloon, you speak from chipping experience i take it? ......

What’s behind you doesn’t matter..
Take these stats I found on the manufacturer's Australian websites for example...
With a Mk3 2.0L 8v AGG, for both the following mods you are talking serious $$$'s, so how would you spend your money?
GIAC performance chip (on it's own)
- 3.73kw (5hp) gain
Oettinger performance upgrade (includes cam, head work, some intake work, and a chip once it's all done)
- 18kw (24.14hp) gain
IMHO, there is heaps more to modifying cars than just slapping in a chip and driving off into the sunset. If you are truly devoted to upgrading a car to full effect, then a chip is the last thing you should be doing, not the first...
Cheers
