Are you going to spray the intake plate (matte?) black to hide it behind the grill, or do you want it visible in all its glory for all those who know what they're looking at?
guys just had a new custom intercooler made and a custom air intake plate, top and bottom tanks on the fmic its prob one of the nicest fab work ive seen hope you enjoy.,...............

Nothing to see here...
Nice fab work...What model of Audi A4 is that?? Looks like DUB20V's Golf...

I agree with manaz on that one! Looks very nice tho!
id be a bit weary with that intake tho, says "suck me water" lol
What’s behind you doesn’t matter..
yeah it runs into the std air box, and its not a boat so should be sweet. had been used in the pi$$ down rain and no probs.

that intercooler looks tiny considering the car is running a GT28, can we safely say its never going to see forged internals?

untill it blows a rod no, i dont see an need to atm. and the cooler is the same size as the guys use in alot of porsche cars they build, you need to know about fmic before saying its to small, a well built fmic isd alot different to a rice cooler you can buy, and im only running 2" pipe from turbo to fmic and 2.5" from fmic to inlet.
oh and a gt28 is not big btw.

Looks great. I dont think youll have any trouble with the intake. You'd need to hit a puddle over 1/2 a metre deep for the water to reach high enough to get through the air box and into the throttle body. I really cant see it being an issue
