balkanac mine felt good too but just decided to go with only 85, 000 kms on the dial

Anyway a bit of feed back fromt he install,
loving the new clutch and flywheel setup money well spent, the only downfall which i don't believe is related to the new clutch is that a bearing in gbox has gone being the best outcome or god knows what else worst case rebuild!! So it now has to come out agian and get cracked open to find out the problem. If anyone has any ideas of what it may be or reccomendations on where to get it looke at will be greatly appreciated.

It's all the one assembly sol it would have been done

I have funny problems, the slave has had the finger pointed at but I think there's more to it (as does the mech who installed for me), which isn't being recognised which has left me a bit fdisappointed with this kit.

I hope it is only that assembly, I struggled to find anyone who would fit it, let alone anyone happy to strip and rebuild a box!

i had a LUK Clutch kit fitted to mine felt fine and handled at least 70 KM odd of daily driving plus some hard driving on the track and towing. where as the original let go at 70 but that was the pressure plate and not the clutch which still had a half life.

my clutch kit + labour was about 1400 or so...

    hi all just an update

things just seem to be going from bad to worse ... now the gearbox bearing has faield!! back to the doctors to get fixed only to discover that the bellhousing has cracked and leaking onto the new flywheel
so i have taken it to various welders and pretty much have been told its extremely hard and cant be guaranteed how long it will last!
Anyone know where i can get a replacment bellhousing from??

    cheers

Pretty sure G60JAY has a gearbox in his garage. Might be worth a PM to ask him.

hi matey. I was in Exoticars today just shooting the breeze with Arthur and was sure I saw your car there. Obviously it isn't your ride as such, but we did get to talking about whether a bell-housing can be repaired etc and they recently did an amazing job on a bell housing for a Audi S4 and it looked like a top job. I'd definitely be getting a second opinion from Arthur before shelling out for a new box.
