    It was never going to be cheap, Rhyno, commercial quantity is what brings the unit cost down. Similarly for a CNC set up your initial programming cost seems excessive but when you turn them out by the hundred the cost reduces per unit to a much more realistic amount. Bear in mind that I was given a very rough quote, I'm in WA, you may get a better quote where you are located.

    Yeah of course, I understand that completely. If I knew of someone with access to the tooling and some scrap, it could be made pretty cheaply, but to get it made at full rates and from new stock is, of course, expensive. I expect that a lot of the cost is in time. Anyway, I'll see what I come up with. Thanks again for your efforts.

    No worries, Rhyno, if you were in Perth, I could have helped you out, probably would have cost you a six pack of beer for the machine shop.
