Exactly. I meant it in terms of building a car that aspires to be something else and taking the money you would have originally saved from buying the cheaper car, and spending the difference (or more) on getting the car upto scratch (aesthetics or performance). I'm all for making something your own, and it's true that you can't buy a supercharged or turboed 8V Mk4 from the factory.
